Jennifer Fekete: Licensed Master Aesthetician & Licensed Massage Therapist
Jen is a Licensed Master Esthetician as well as a Licensed Massage Therapist! She has over 25 years of experience as a Master Aesthetician. She enjoys working with all skin types and incorporates multiple modalities into her treatments to help clients achieve their skincare goals. She specializes in microcurrent, ultrasonic, and LED therapy treatments and also provides body wraps, scrubs, and facial waxing.
Jen graduated from the Massage Therapy Program at ECPI University in 2021 and enjoys performing Swedish, Relaxation Massage. She also has her certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage. She is looking forward to pursuing certifications in other massage modalities in the future.
Geri Karavias: Spa Manager & Licensed Nail Technician
Geri is a licensed Nail Technician. Her interest in the spa industry began when she enrolled in Cosmology during her Junior year of High School. Since then, she has worked as a Natural Nail Technician in Newport News, VA for the past 15 years. She keeps her focus on enhancing the beauty of the hands and feet while maintains the health of the nails and surrounding skin. “I take pride in providing a comfortable and quality service with the utmost care!”

Carol Render: Licensed Massage Therapist, Licensed Esthetician & Reiki Master
Carol Render graduated from the Institute of Health and Healing in 2010. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Medical Massage Practitioner and Registered Yoga Instructor. She has over ten years of experience in the field of Massage. Her specialties include Himalayan Salt Stone massage, Warm Bamboo, Cupping, and is also a Reiki practitioner. She provides personalized treatment plans for her clients, using different modalities in her sessions to enhance her client’s treatment goals. She has also just recently obtained her certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
Carol is also employed as the Massage Therapy Program Coordinator at Centura College in Newport News and conducts her own Yoga Teacher Training program. Carol is Board Certified with the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and is a member of the Association of Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) and the Yoga Alliance (YA). She is currently training as an Aesthetician and is pursuing her credentialing as a continuing education provider with the NCBTMB.
Sarah Shores: Front Desk Manager
Sarah keeps the day-to-day running’s of Purity smooth. She is in charge of customer relations, all large group bookings as well as product inventory. She is constantly cleaning or organizing something, not to mention the countless tasks she does to help keep Nicole sane. She is a Licensed Cosmetologist which gives her knowledge of the industry to help her coworkers any way she can. When she is not in the spa, she is with her son Aidyn and spending quality time with her family.
Lacie LeSueur: Licensed Massage Therapist
Prior to Massage Therapy Lacie had a 10-year career as a zookeeper and veterinary assistant in her hometown of Birmingham, Alabama. She changed career paths from gaining an interest in anatomy and physiology due to her own multiple orthopedic injuries as a lifelong soccer player. Lacie has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2016 and moved to the area in November of 2019. She has gained certifications in canine and equine massage as well as certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage. She hopes to return to working with animals as well as humans. She prefers deep tissue and sports massage but is able to provide most of the massage modalities we offer including medical. She also enjoys working with prenatal clients as well as anyone looking to just relax.
Brooklin Armijo: Licensed Esthetician, Front Dest Coordinator
Since I was a little girl, it has been my lifelong dream to empower individuals to discover their highest form of self-confidence. My journey in esthetics has not only allowed me to cultivate my passion but also transform my aspirations into reality. I firmly believe in the significance of self-care and see it as my calling to aid others in their self-care journey. I look forward to my personal growth here at Purity, as well as nurturing my connections with our clients. Looking ahead, I am committed to becoming a Master of Holistic Esthetics and Facial Massage.
Laurie Richmond: Licensed Massage Therapist
Laurie graduated from Centura College in Newport News, VA in 2019. Shortly after school she started working full time with a Chiropractor in Newport News. She continues to work part time in the spa setting because she enjoys working with clients and providing Swedish, Relaxation Massage as well as Deep Tissue work. Eventually Laurie would like to further her education specializing in medical style massage.
Nicole Lehr: Owner, Licensed Master Esthetician, Licensed Nail Technician & Instructor
Hello, I am a Licensed Master Esthetician and Nail Technician, I am also the owner of Purity!
I entered into the spa industry in 1999 after completing a Nail Technician Apprenticeship. I began studying Esthetics in 2005 and fell in love with facial massage. Being a forever learner, I have continued my education pursuing holistic facial massage modalities with the ultimate goal of being a Certified Holistic Master Esthetician. I hold certifications in the following facial massage modalities…Facial Cupping, Facial Gua Sha, Facial Poultice, Manual Lymphatic Drainage-The Dr. Vodder method for the face & neck and Connective Tissue Massage. After losing a prior job I decided to be in charge of my own fate, so in 2016 I opened Purity.
